Eight persons serve on the Spoon River College’s Board of Trustees. Seven members are elected from the college district, and the eighth member is elec​ted from the student body of the college. The seven members elected from the college district serve six-year terms, unless otherwise specified. The board members represent residents of the college district in accordance with the guidelines established under the Illinois Public Community College Act.
