Eric ThompsonEric Thompson

Job: Real Estate Agent

Years Attended: 2005–2007

Degree: Associates in natural Resourced and Conservation

Eric came to SRC after graduating from Canton High School in 2005. At SRC, he was a member of the livestock and meat judging teams, as well as participated in state and national PAS (Post-Secondary Agriculture Students) competitions across the country. Before graduating, Eric was on the SRC College Bowl team that placed 2nd place in the nation at the National PAS competition in Idaho. After SRC, Eric attended Western Illinois University and graduated with a bachelor’s in agriculture science. He spent 9+ years as a district sales manager for Monsanto and Bayer through Iowa and 5 years producing limestone products before becoming a soils conservationist for the NRCS (Natural Resource and Conservation Service). Eric has recently transitioned to start his own real estate business. He lives in West Branch, Iowa, with his wife, two children, and two Labrador Retrievers.
