FAFSA Completion Help Is Here!

Have you struggled with completing the new 2024-2025 FAFSA and need help? Are you a recent graduating senior from the Class of 2024? Spoon River College is partnering with the Illinois Student Assistance Commission and the Illinois Community College Board to provide relief to area students who have struggled with completing the new FAFSA!
Spoon River College is hosting FAFSA Completion Events with food, drinks, gift cards and help in supporting and assisting students complete the FAFSA. Only 2024 high school graduates in the Spoon River College District will be able to receive monetary assistance to offset the travel expenses of attending the event.

Please be sure to bring 2022 Income tax information, 2022 W-2s and other income, Social Security numbers, FSA IDs, passwords, and email addresses for ALL contributors to the FAFSA. This includes Student, Parent, and/or Parent’s Spouse. You may bring your personal device if you choose.
If you have not created an FSA ID and Password and need assistance with that, assistance will be provided, but please be aware it could take 3-5 business days for your information to be verified before a FAFSA can be completed. In that case you can contact SRC Financial Aid to schedule a one-on-one appointment to assist in the completion. Call 309-649-7030 for assistance.
