Employability Skill Academy

Increase your employability!  SRC will be hosting an event which offers instruction on resume writing, tips on how to get a job, interviewing skills, and much more! Use this event to get yourself ready for the Job Fair on May 8!

TIME: 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM
LOCATION: Spoon River College Macomb campus, SRC Outreach Center.

You may attend either the morning or afternoon session or come for the entire day!

Morning Session:

• 8:30–9:00: Check in and refreshments
• 9:00-9:45:  Job Search Strategies–Mandi McRaven
• 9:50-10:30:  Employer Expectations in Today’s Workplace–Hannah Neuendorf
• 10:45-11:30 Customer Service and Business Etiquette–(Presenter: TBA)

11:30-12:15:  Lunch on your own

Afternoon Session:

• 12:15-12:30:  Check in for Afternoon Sessions (Only if you did not attend Morning session).
• 12:30-1:10 Interviewing–(Presenter: TBA)
• 1:15-2:30 Resume and Cover Letter–(Presenter: TBA)
