“We saw a need in the community and after some time have finally been able to meet that need” said CallaBria Putrino, City of Macomb Transit Director. “The Public Transportation team is excited to work with SRC to provide a solution to students, so transportation is not a barrier to education” she added.

We know transportation can be a significant barrier for students pursuing their educational goals. We are excited to partner with the City of Macomb to expand access to Spoon River College and give students another opportunity to connect with the resources and services they need to succeed. This is a great example of what can happen when community partners come together to support student success,” said Holly Norton, Vice President of Educational and Student Services at Spoon River College.
