Dear Students (and Parents!),

Congratulations on considering beginning your college education with dual credit courses through Spoon River College. SRC is pleased to provide talented high school students with an opportunity to accelerate their college education by enrolling in college classes while in high school.

Below is an application for a dual credit scholarship through the SRC Foundation for the Spring 2027 semester. To qualify you will need to complete every field and, if you haven’t already, apply for admission to SRC. The application is due by 3:30 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026, after which, recipients will be chosen, pending the number of applicants and the availability of funds. We will notify you by email as soon as possible once the recipients are selected. We anticipate recipients will be notified by November 15, 2026.

The scholarship is only awarded for the semester in which the SRC grade is awarded. If you are taking a year-long course, you are only eligible to apply for the scholarship for the fall semester for that course. However, if you are taking other courses that are spring-only, you may be considered for those as well.

PLEASE NOTE: If student drops a dual credit course after award is made, the student may be responsible for repaying the scholarship amount to the SRC Foundation. Please visit the SRC Foundation Scholarship page for more information.
