Nursing Program Admission
Why come to Spoon River College For Nursing?
Spoon River College has a top-notch Nursing program that provides the prospective student with several options:
- We are a two-year (RN) nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing).
- We have an exit-out option after one year (LPN) (Practical Nursing Certificate).
- We also have an option for current LPN’s to enter the second year (RN) as advanced standing students.
If you have had previous academic years contact with us, please be aware that there are several new requirements/processes in 09-10 Nursing Admissions Handbook.
How do I get started?
The best way to start the advising/admissions process for the nursing program is by following the steps of:
- Reviewing the documents at the bottom of this page.
- Arrange to take the COMPASS test.
- Then schedule a follow up appointment with a general advisor through the Student Services Dept.
