9.2.9 - CE and VSK Registration, Cancellation, and Refund

POLICY:  The Spoon River College Office of Community Outreach registers, cancels, and refunds students for continuing education (CE) and vocational skills (VSK) courses (courses with the prefix of CE or VSK).

SCOPE:

This policy applies to all Spoon River College students enrolled in CE or VSK courses.

DETAILS:

1. Continuing Education (CE) and Vocational Skills (VSK) Registration:
   1. CE and VSK registrations are completed via the web, telephone, mail, or in person at any Spoon River College location.
   2. CE and VSK offerings with low enrollment may be cancelled.
   3. Acceptable payment methods for CE and VSK offerings include cash, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or check at the time of registration or no later than the scheduled offering starting date.
2. CE and VSK Cancellation and Refund:
   1. CE and VSK enrollees may cancel registrations by calling the Community Outreach Offices.
   2. Full refunds may be provided to enrollees who cancel registrations no later than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled start date of the offering.
