9.2.1 - Admissions Information

POLICY: Spoon River College admits applicants based upon established criteria.
SCOPE:
This policy applies to all prospective Spoon River College students.
DETAILS:
- Applicants may be admitted into the College by one or more of the following ways:
- Diploma from an accredited high school (transcript).
- Transfer from another college or university (transcripts from all colleges previously attended).
- General Education Development (GED) or equivalent examination.
- A student less than 18 years of age must provide a letter from the Superintendent or designee of their high school district in which he/she has legal residence stating that he/she no longer has connections with such school system.
- Special admissions situations not covered by the above will be reviewed on an individual basis. In such cases, approval must be given by the Vice President or designee.
