POLICY: Spoon River College admits applicants based upon established criteria.
SCOPE:
This policy applies to all prospective Spoon River College students.
DETAILS:
Applicants may be admitted into the College by one or more of the following ways:
Diploma from an accredited high school (transcript).
Transfer from another college or university (transcripts from all colleges previously attended).
General Education Development (GED) or equivalent examination.
A student less than 18 years of age must provide a letter from the Superintendent or designee of their high school district in which he/she has legal residence stating that he/she no longer has connections with such school system.
Special admissions situations not covered by the above will be reviewed on an individual basis. In such cases, approval must be given by the Vice President or designee.
