Sports include: Men’s and Women’s Cross Country, Men’s Baseball and Women’s Softball.


Spoon River College has a long, proud history of college athletics. The college has provided students with the opportunity to participate in a variety of athletic teams and events. Spoon River College and its athletic program are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). The NJCAA promotes and fosters junior college athletics on intersectional and national levels so that results will be consistent with the total educational program of its members.

Softball games are played at the Canton Park District 4th. Ave. diamond's in the 800 block N. 4th Ave., Canton, IL 61520 Softball Field Location The park address is 900 North 1st. Ave. Parking for Softball games can be accessed by going East on Birch St. and turning left on 4th Avenue.
