Spoon River College Office of Communtiy Outreach offers a variety of classes, seminars and workshops that enhance personal development and promote lifelong learning opportunities.
Classes and Seminars for Community Education
Personal enrichment, professional development, vocational skills, and lifelong learning classes are offered in a variety of topic areas including:

• Food Sanitation
• Professional Development for Educators

• Learning in Retirement classes
Personal Enrichment Seminars
Personal enrichment seminars are offered both day and evening in short intervals. Seminars do not include tests, homework or commitment beyond attendance and participation. Special seminars for those 50 years of age and better are scheduled throughout the year at all Spoon River College locations.
The Community Outreach Newsletter provides a current listing of courses, programs, and events available to the community. We offer courses in Canton, Macomb, Havana, Rushville, and online!

The Office of Community Outreach is always seeking ideas for new classes and workshops. If you have an idea for a class that you think would be of interest to the community, please print out the Non-Credit Program Proposal form below, complete the information and submit it to:
