Head Coach Larry Warden

Coach Warden is beginning his sixth season with SRC Softball this Spring.  His goal and philosophy for the program is that each member of the team graduates from Spoon River College with a Student-Athlete mentality, and that they will look back on their time at SRC as a solid foundation that is centered on what can be learned from team sports both on and off the field.

Warden, a former baseball player at SRC, graduated in 1981 from the college's automotive program and has been employed by Art Hossler Auto Plaza for 28 years.  His wife of 25 years, Lori, also a graduate from SRC, have three daughters: Cassie, an elementary school teacher at Lewistown; Chrissy, a senior at Canton High School; and Caty, a sixth grader at Ingersoll.  Coach Warden, previous to coaching at Spoon River College, coached at Canton High School and Middle School.  He also coaches summer fast pitch softball and has done so for the last 15 years.
