Geocaching is a “real-world outdoor treasure hunting game.  Players try to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, using GPS-enabled devices and then share their experiences online.”  (Source: geocaching.com)

Andrea Barbknecht and Sam Shafer of Spoon River College will use online resources to locate “treasure” and then use GPS technology to find the physical object.

Enrollment is limited for this program, so early registration is suggested.  A registration form/parent permission form is required and available at the Spoon River College Havana Center located at 324 East Randolph, in Havana, or at the Spoon River College Rushville Center located at 706 Maple Avenue, in Rushville.

For more information or to register, call SRC at 309-543-4413, 309-647-6260, or 217-322-6060.
