Fall Hours Announced for SRC Employability Skills Centers

The Spoon River College Office of Community Outreach announces Fall hours for the Employability Skills Centers in Canton, Havana, Macomb, and Rushville.

The Spoon River College Employability Skills Centers offer job-building skills opportunities for those seeking employment or wanting to advance in their current fields.  Employability Skills Centers can assist with career exploration, career counseling, application preparation, basic work skills training, technology/computer training, and more.

The Employability Skills Centers are coordinated by Andrea Barbknecht, the Technology Coordinator for the SRC Office of Community Outreach. This program is funded by a grant from the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity’s “Eliminate the Digital Divide” program.  This means that most services are provided at NO cost to participants.

Employability Skills Centers are open in Canton, Rushville, Havana and Macomb M-F by appointment, and walk-ins are welcome in Canton on Saturday mornings between 9 am and Noon.

For questions, or to make an appointment contact Andrea at 309-647-5886 or email andrea.barbknecht@src.edu to schedule an appointment.
