The Innovative Teaching and Learning Centers in both Canton and Macomb were created to better assist faculty in providing exceptional learning opportunities at Spoon River College. Both centers are places where faculty can share knowledge, exchange ideas, use specialized software, and attend training. An Instructional Design Specialist is available to assist faculty with any aspect of teaching and learning, from course design and teaching strategies to technology integration.

The mission of the Innovative Teaching and Learning Center is:
    * To be a change agent to foster improvements in the quality of teaching and learning at SRC.
    * To promote the application of current principles of quality higher education to all aspects of teaching and learning at SRC.
    * To facilitate an understanding of the teaching-learning dynamics that is consistent with current principles of quality higher education.
    * To assist faculty at SRC in their educational endeavors.

The location of the Canton ITLC is C205 in the library (within the Academic Success Center). The Macomb ITLC is located in G006 on the lower level.
