Not sure what you want to do with your life?   Students can stop by the Student Services Office to make an appointment to take interest/career inventories to help focus on careers that best fit their abilities and interests, discuss educational requirements, working conditions, job market information, and salary expectations. 

You can also visit our Career Cruising website at  www.careercruising.com.    The login is srcollege and the password is 23235.  Students can set up portfolios and do career/interest inventories, explore careers and colleges and also create a resume.   

The Canton Campus also has a Career Resource Room on the Canton campus in Room C134, where students can utilize computers to browse career and college websites to find information to help them achieve their career and education goals.
 
Students, alumni, and community members can register with the Job Placement Office by visiting the Student Services office on the Canton and Macomb campus, or by calling (309) 649-6324.

Area employment opportunities can be viewed at on the  Local Job Links page or check the bulletin board outside Student Services on the Canton Campus.

The Career Services and Job Placement Center is available to assist former and current students with resume and cover letter development, proper business etiquette, interview skills and employment opportunities.   All services are free for currently enrolled students and alumni of SRC.

All Students, Alumni, and Community Members are eligible to use the Spoon River College online job board after completing the following registration process through a site that has been specially designed for the Spoon River College career center.

User name: First initial of first name, first initial of last name, 7 digit student id number(with leading zeros if not a total of seven digits).
Password: srcjobs (it will require you to change it after first logging in)

The students can check their SRC Mudcat messages for login information or can call 309-649-6324 or 309-833-6022 or stop by student services for their user name information.
