Spoon River College is seeking comments from the public about the College in preparation for its periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency. The College will host a visit February 13-15, 2012, with a team representing the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association. Spoon River College has been accredited by the Commission since 1977.

The public may make comments in reference to Spoon River College’s ability to meet the Commission’s Criteria for accreditation by either attending a meeting on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at any of the college’s four locations; Canton, Havana, Macomb, or Rushville, or the public is invited to submit comments regarding the college to:

Comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of the institution or its academic programs.  Comments submitted to the Higher Learning Commission by mail or on the Web site must be received by February 10.
