College Accreditation

In a letter sent to Spoon River College on June 1, 2012, the Institutional Actions Council (IAC) of the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association voted to continue the accreditation of Spoon River College for ten years.  The next comprehensive evaluation of Spoon River College by the HLC is set for 2021-2022.
