About Our Programs

As a public, two-year community college Spoon River College offers a wide range of programs to meet your needs -- whatever they might be.  If you are still in high school you can take advantage of our Fast Track program and get college credits while you are still in college!  How cool is that?

Maybe you dream of going to a large four-year university, but you're not sure if you're ready.  That's o.k.  Take your first two years of college with us.  You'll save money (we're cheaper than the big guys), we'll help you learn the ropes of studying for college (our Academic Success Center staff are awesome), and we'll make sure your credits can transfer (our advisors are all over that).

What if the big, four-year school is not for you?  No problem!  We have excellent career and technical programs where you can learn the skills to get that great job.  We have great resources in our Career Services center that will help you find the career area that is best suited for you.
