Spoon River College Board of Trustees Chair, Gayle Strode Blodgett, introduces Curtis E. Oldfield as the new president for the college.   The announcement was made at several press conferences held across the college district on Tuesday, April 10.  Mr. Oldfield was selected to be the eighth president of Spoon River College after a nationwide search.  Mr. Oldfield is a graduate of Spoon River College and currently serves as the Vice President of Academic Affairs at Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC).  He will begin his duties at Spoon River College on July 1.  more
